Default Guild Req's question

I am in a group of people looking to form our own guild, and was wondering if there is a required number of players to form a guild? Forgive me if this has been answered before, but I couldn't find it looking in the forum or the FAQ's.

Nope.

There is a max number of 100 people.
But to battle you must have 8 people (unless you want to be one of those idiots who uses henchmen... doesn't work).

It costs some gold to start the guild (just getting the name), another bit of gold to get the cape, and a Celestial Sigil to aquire a guild hall (win at Tombs or buy for 1500 gold).

There are 7 guild halls...

Warrior's
Magician's
Druid's
Hunter's
Lava
Frozen
Dead

A guild hall is your Guild's own privately instanced outpost. It is at the same dot on the map for every person that has it (no matter which of the 7 types you select) and only your guild can get into your guild hall. You get there by opening the map and clicking the green pin-head. It's on an island. ((by instanced, i mean only your guild sees it. not that you can use skills there and stuff))

Mostly it's a place to wage war with other guilds. Get your guild to go to the guild hall and form a party of 8. Then either send a challenge to a specific guild or ask to have one randomly arranged for you.

When the battle starts, you will either be on the offensive or defensive team. The offensive team always starts on a boat and are visiters to the enemie's guild hall. If you are the defending team, you start in your hall and are at the guild hall you chose. other than that, the gameplay is the same:

to win the match, you must slay the enemy guild lord. (whether he be on the boat or in the hall). if you die, you will be resurected periodically at a shrine thing inside your guild hall (or next to the boat). no. you do not need to keep a priest alive or anything like that. in the middle of the level, there is a flag stand. take your flag here to get a morale boost every 2 minutes.

there are also several NPCs there. Footmen are positioned outside your Guild Hall as guards, the Guild Lord is the guy you have to keep alive to win, the Arcanist is just another guard behind the Lord, there are several Archers behind him as well, and there is the Guild Thief who can unlock the enemy's doors so you can go in there and kill him.
